Irene Ghobrial

About me

Irene is the Physician Assistant to Dr. Alan Curtis. Since partnering with him in 2008, Irene has developed a niche in the management of shoulder injuries, encompassing a broad spectrum of both sports-related and complex cases. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her clinical training was completed at a range of esteemed hospitals and athletic programs, including New England Baptist Hospital, Boston University Athletics, and Bentley University Football, providing her with a solid foundation in sports medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, Irene is dedicated to education and professional development. Her commitment to advancing the next generation of medical professionals is evident in her role as a clinical instructor at the Tufts University School of Medicine Physician Assistant program, where she mentors and educates future physician assistants.
