Dr. Braziel is a distinguished Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in total joint replacements of the knee and hip. His practice spans multiple locations, including New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, New England Baptist Outpatient Center in Dedham, and outpatient centers in Salem and Hollis, New Hampshire.
After obtaining his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Braziel completed his residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center. Further refining his expertise, he undertook the Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction surgery at New England Baptist Hospital. Currently, he serves as the Co-Director of Out-Patient Arthroplasty at New England Baptist, evidencing his leadership and commitment to advancing joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Braziel is an esteemed member of several prestigious societies, such as the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and he holds a fellowship with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons (ABOS).
