Dr. Slovenkai is a Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialization in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery, including expertise in arthroscopic and total ankle procedures. His clinical practice is primarily based at New England Baptist Hospital, alongside various local outpatient surgery centers, where he provides specialized care for foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Slovenkai's academic foundation commenced at Albany Medical College, followed by a residency at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, and a fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Slovenkai is also a major contributor to medical literature and has participated in national meetings as an expert panelist, demonstrating his commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of these conditions. His role as an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Tufts School of Medicine further highlights his dedication to educating the next generation of surgeons. Additionally, he is a consultant to the Boston Celtics.
An active member of several organizations, including the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), Massachusetts Orthopedic Society (MOS), and Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS), Dr. Slovenkai is deeply engaged in the orthopedic community.
